Forum Title: carpet seams showing
Recently installed nice plush carpet (1 yr plus) by Home Depot in Large Family Room (18 ft x 17 ft) and is already showing sign where seams are down center and also dips down just before (1-2 inches) reaches hardwood floor, along whole edge of hardwood. Previous carpet in area did not show sign of seams until 12 years old or anything like this. 1) Can I classify this as a bad install? 2) How hard to find nice quality carpet in one roll, one piece? Where? Thanks, Joe.

The largest width carpet comes in is 15 will have a seam no matter what. Can you post pics of wear? Shoot along the surface of carpet to show low spots at hardwood.

This didn't have anything at all to do with moving large rolls of carpet. I don't know why the OP replied to that topic, but now that he did and Nate replied (instead of moving the post to the carpet forum and THEN replying - or at least reporting the post so it could get moved before replying), he will, again, be directed to the wrong topic when he gets his notification that someone replied. Sometimes I feel like I am just talking through a hole in my face.

Jim, I was getting to that, turned from Tapatalk to safari and went to find it and it was gone, I thought you VAPORIZED him!
